the bar
what’s in it?
deep cocoa with subtle sea salt is made with 11 ingredients: dates, whey protein concentrate (milk), organic agave syrup, natural cocoa powder, organic sprouted brown rice protein powder, organic cacao nibs, organic virgin coconut oil, almond spread, water, sea salt flakes, and natural vanilla flavouring. every one is an ingredient you’ll recognise.
what is the natural vanilla flavouring?
it’s made from real organic vanilla beans [steeped in alcohol and water, with a touch of sugar]. it’s listed as natural vanilla flavouring because that’s how singapore labelling rules name it. there’s no synthetic ingredient.
how much protein is in each bar?
11.7 g per 45 g bar, most of it comes from whey and organic sprouted brown rice protein, with the rest from almond spread, natural cocoa powder, organic cacao nibs, and dates.
why should i care about dietary fibre?
dietary fibre are generally found in fruits and vegetables. it supports a healthy gut. most people struggle to eat enough dietary fibre. the dietary fibre in a deep cocoa with subtle sea salt 11 bar is 3.9 g, the equivalent of having a medium apple (with skin on).
how is it sweetened?
with dates and organic agave syrup. there are no artificial sweeteners or flavours.
what does it taste like?
deeply chocolatey, mildly sweet with a subtle sea salt finish.
what does it taste like?
it is dense and somewhat fudgy, chewy. you also feel organic cacao nibs in every bite.
why does the appearance of the bar changes from bar to bar?
treat edit only uses real ingredients, which can vary from time to time. in addition, when finished, dusted cocoa powder and sea salt flakes are dusted on top of the bar. the cocoa can be absorbed by the bar overtime, changing its appearance on top.
when should i have one?
whenever you want something sweet. after a run or a session, in your bag on the go, in the afternoon, or before bed. it also makes a considered gift when you’re visiting someone.
why “treat edit”?
we took a treat we love and edited it, keeping what matters and removing what doesn’t. nothing unnecessary, nothing compromised.

is it gluten free?
yes.
what allergens does it contain?
milk and tree nuts (almonds).
it may contain peanuts, trees nuts, sesame, egg, lupin and sulphites.
is it vegan?
no. it contains whey protein, which comes from milk.
is it halal certified?
not at this time.

what if it isn’t for me?
if you order a 6-pack on treatedit.com and it isn’t for you, email customerservice@treatedit.com within 7 days of receiving or collecting your order. we’ll refund you, and there’s no need to send anything back. this doesn’t apply to 12-packs, gift boxes or purchases made at events.
how should i store it?
store in a cool, dry place.
why small batches?
because treat edit bars are made without preservatives. we conduct shelf-stability tests to understand how long they can last when stored under right conditions.
