our story

a better kind of treat. without compromise.

when my son asked if he could have my protein bar, my first instinct was yes. low in sugar, high in protein, a healthy snack. then i read the ingredients, and the answer changed. it also explained why those bars never quite sat right with me.

i travel, run, and lift weights. protein and fibre matter to me, even on the go, and so does something sweet. that moment with my son taught me that what’s on the front of a pack doesn’t always match the list on the back. now i read every label and question every ingredient. the options i found asked me to choose between a real treat and a list i could trust.

so i went back to the treat i’ve always made. i grew up in brazil, where brigadeiro is part of every birthday, every celebration, and every afternoon that needs something sweet. through new york, hong kong, switzerland, and now singapore, it’s what i made whenever i wanted chocolate.

then i edited it. kept the deep cocoa. added cacao nibs and a subtle sea salt. sweetened it with dates and organic agave. what’s left is only real ingredients you’ll recognise: high in protein and dietary fibre, gluten free, with no artificial sweeteners or flavours.

that’s what the edit in treat edit means. considered, the way a good edit is. nothing unnecessary, nothing compromised.

a treat, crafted as a protein bar.
